Lapad is part of Dubrovnik (actually the peninsula) situated just a few kilometers away from Old Town. The connection with an Old Town is very good and the bus goes very frequently. It is a relatively new part of Dubrovnik compared to the history of the Old town. In the past, it was the residence of local merchants and nobility but now it is becoming the biggest residential part of Dubrovnik. The majority of hotels and villas are situated in this part of Dubrovnik.Lapad, the area with lots of good restaurants, places to stay, pedestrian areas, and beautiful beaches with magnificent sunsets. Not so crowded as in the Old Town but only 10 min away by a local bus it represents the perfect place to stay.

Fantastic apartment, furnishings to a high standard and it was lovely to sit on the balcony first thing in the morning and later into the evening. Great location, Lapad main town with the restaurants is around a 10 minute walk, and close to the beach also.

Our Favorite spot to stay over 2 weeks in Croatia

This accommodation stands out for its combination of aesthetics and location. The apartment is beautiful. The terrace out front has a great couch, awesome view and pass thru window to the kitchen. Everyone was gracious and kind including Kristina, the host Silva and her friendly dog Bobi. The laundry and drying rack was a welcome feature. Just note that the address is 62, not 26 :-)

Fantastic apartment with great views. Just wish we could have stayed longer! The family loved staying here and its a perfect location for the beach and a short bus ride to the old town. All questions were promptly answered so felt reassured throughout. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Beautiful View and Location

The unit was spotless upon entry and the views were spectacular. My wife and I enjoyed four days in the Dubrovnik area and we found the nearby bus stop close by and easily accessible. One thing to note is there are a number of stairs to this unit and if one takes the nearby steps down to the beach, one is looking at 180 steps. However, walking down the street eliminates all these steps and connects one right to restaurant row and all the other local attractions.
