Check in was very easy, nice friendly staff. Very walkable to everywhere really, lots of bars, shops nearby and close to the train station. Would definitely stay here and when I return to Dortmund

Dortmund short stay

One night stay to take in a football game and visit the resistance museum. Good central location close to reataurants and pedestrianized areas, quiet, clean, large own room, excellent breakfast, staff had good English. Good value. More like hotel than a hostel. Would stay again.

Youth Hostel Stay in Dortmund

Let's not forget that it is a Youth Hostel and accordingly equipped (spartan rooms, thin walls). That's nothing new. But this hostel could not have been more accommodating in very respect - breakfast was the only meal I had there but it was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Great value for money

Booked four single en-suite rooms here. The price was much better than a regular hotel. Although it's quite basic, it is clean, and has all you need for a couple of nights. The location is perfect, right in the city centre. A simple breakfast is provided, and there is a shop downstairs for drinks and snacks. Would recommend for a base for a couple of nights if on a budget.

If I want to book a hotel on hotel.com I expect only Hotels not a Hostel. I wouldn't mind, but if you pay a hotel rate for a hostel it's not acceptable.
