Will never stay at this hotel again, they charged my card three times! They staff uneducated and rude! Management never even tried to fix the issue or even had the respect to return my calls. Novi police had to be called etc. That’s okay my bank will handle this matter for me. Don’t ever stay at this hotel. Staff is very unprofessional on top of that it’s clear they love to steal money from you. Run Run Run!!!

⭐ 1 out of 5 stars Sonesta Select Detroit Novi – Extremely Disappointing Stay My stay at this hotel was awful from the beginning. Check-in took an unnecessary amount of time despite there being no real reason for the delay. When I finally got to my room, things only got worse. The entire room — and honestly the hotel overall — was filthy. There was no microwave or fridge, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. The bathroom in the room was so dirty that the public lobby restrooms were actually cleaner. Multiple things didn’t work, including the lamps, lights, and outlets. Behind the nightstands were inches of dust, and the drawers in both the nightstand and dresser were absolutely filthy. The TV was glitchy and only worked about half the time. To put it into perspective, I’ve stayed at cleaner, more comfortable Motel 6s and Red Roof Inns than this place — and that says a lot. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not stay here again and absolutely would not recommend it to anyone.
