No need to call 911

We have visited this Westin several times for dance competitions. Although I had said I would never stay again because of the amount of time the fire alarm went off through the night I decided to give it another try. I was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and quiet a corner room upper floor was. The view of the mountains was beautiful. I would now recommend staying here for some peace and quiet even with hundreds of screaming dancers below in the ballrooms.

This is a beautiful, upscale property. It’s very clean. It smells incredible. There is a Starbucks on site-it has a scaled down menu, but it’s convenient. It also has Starbucks coffee in the room. The pool is smaller than I expected but it was heated to a comfortable temperature. It also has a dry sauna in the ladies restroom. The bed and bedding was luxurious. They also give you a small sleep oil on the bedside table. The staff was incredible, they were very friendly.

Over the past year, we have enjoyed trips from D.C. to California. When a stay has been amazing, it's a pleasure leaving a review however, when things are not so wonderful, I will generally keep it to myself however, this is the exception. Staff was for the most part amazing. The room was less than stellar in that the bathroom was not clean, toilet did not drain (I could see marks from where the engineer may have used a snake to unclog prior), fixtures needed attention, In addition, the floors and tabletops had debris on them. Many of the electrical outlets were loose and difficult at best to plug devises up. The most disappointing thing was found on a pillow that was not used on our 1st night. I shared this with the housekeeper, and she didn't take it and asked me to take it to the front desk. The young man at the front desk was apologetic about the issue and provided me with a clean pillow afterwards. My issue is, I do not expect a perfect regardless of the location and price however, I do expect to have clean linen and pillows.
