When we checked in the room was dirty and things were left from the previous guests that the kids did not clean. Had a sticky floor and bathtub was dirty

I enjoyed the property but was disappointed in our room. When we walked in our first impression was a horrible musty smell, not a clean welcoming smell. Also, the curtain had a huge rip actually shredded. I thought that LaQuinta had better standards and was a little disappointed.

I went to check in at 3pm and my room wasn't ready. I waited for about a half hour, no problem. The next morning I woke up with horrible back pain and went to get ice for my pain and the ice machine was broken. I went downstairs at 9:40am to get a cup of coffee and some ice for my back. There was a heavy-set woman behind the desk who gave me two bags for ice. I went to get coffee and there wasn't any. My shoes stuck to the floor like someone had spilled syrup all over the it. When I told the girl, she said, "Breakfast is over." I then told her my shoes were all sticky and I don't know what to do. She said she'd get someone to clean it. As I walked away, a blonde woman with tattoos down her arm was on hold on the phone behind the desk and said something derogatory to me. I stopped and said, "Are you talking to me?" She then swung her head around and said very loudly, "AM I LOOKING AT YOU?" I could NOT believe how rude and awful she was to me! I guess she wasn't happy with me interrupting her speaking to her co-worker. There I was, no coffee, sticky shoes, and in horrible pain from my back. I went back to my room and cried. I went out that day and came back to my key card not working....twice! I ended up sleeping elsewhere that night. I was fine until that evil woman yelled at me.

It is a pleasant hotel with comfortable beds though traffic noise can be loud. I was highly disappointed with the breakfast which seems to be designed for aspiring diabetics as everything was laden with sugar or starch, all of which is forbidden to diabetics such as myself. Surely the hotel could provide sugar free yogurt and cereal? Apparently that would be a step too far. See below the photo of my breakfast, though I forgot to add the apple. Best eat elsewhere if you want to eat well.

I have stayed at several of the LaQuinta hotels in the past, when visiting my elderly parents in Denver. They are a good hotel for the money. Most of them have decent breakfast with a couple of options.

First room we checked into had a toilet that wouldn't flush, a hot-water heater that only worked for 5 minutes, a TV that didn't work - and to top it off - couldn't even phone the front desk because the room phone didn't work! Hotel staff tried to convince us they were too full to do anything about it but after enough complaining, we finally got a room where only the TV didn't work, so I guess they considered that an upgrade!! Opened a customer care issue with Wyndham hotels and still awaiting resolution.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a lot of stuff to bring up to the room and they gave me a room right by the elevator. There were a couple of marks on the sheets and towels but overall it was very comfortable.

It was fine. The bed alright, the breakfast was average and fairly picked over and not replenished throughout the service. The side doors didn’t allow key card access while I was there. My hair dryer didn’t work but after two requests, they were able to replace it. I only needed a bed and a bathroom, so it satisfied those requirements.
