This place was absolutely amazing, especially for us who brought our own paddleboards to launch. They have a private launch, the rooms were amazingly clean and very quiet. The hot tub was amazing after a day of paddling in the “cold”. We walked to everything within 1-2 miles. Great stay!!!!!

It felt out dated in the rooms. One worker walk in the room without knocking while my GF was in the rest room. He did not even apologize. No coffee in the room. The cost did not equal the quality or over all value.

The hotel is located in a good spot and Captain Mike's is right behind the hotel for Manatee Tours. There were two ladies at the front desk. The one that took the people ahead of us was very informative to those guests but the one who checked us in did not offer us any information. The lady working the adventures was nice. The hotel is also walking distance to the little downtown strip. When we got to our room (older room with kitchenette, not refurbished) the heater didn't work so we went to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. So we had to walk to the lobby and tell them and they called the maintenance guy who got there right away but when we asked him a couple questions that he didn't seem to understand he got snippy with us, which is unprofessional. It took a long time to get hot water to the bathroom sink. The next day, the toilet clogged so we had to walk to the lobby to get a plunger because we didn't have a phone to call. When we began plunging the toilet we found that there was a face cloth in the toilet which was left there by a worker who had come in to clean in the morning. We were disappointed in our stay.
