Parking was difficult due to construction, which was not the fault of the motel. The motel is run-down, with holes in the ceiling, broken chain locks on the door which are alarming, broken HVAC, non-working television, and bugs noticeable in the room on arrival, dead gnats all over the bed. Management was responsive only during business hours, so my mother spent a very cold night with no heat, no cold water (scalding shower) and no television until the next day. No compensation was offered in exchange for her misery.

Very basic place but affordable in a town with expensive lodging options. Does have mini fridge and microwave but no breakfast or coffee (no coffee in office or room). Bed very very firm. If you’re a side sleeper your hips will hurt. Downtown area with cute shops and cafes is about a 3 block walk away.

My stay

Reception was friendly and obliging. However, it is a Motel and just a Room, with bathroom, separate sink bed, A/C , refrigerator , TV , microwave and Telephone. Daily replenished with towels, soap and shampoo. That’s it. No kettle, crockery or cutlery Bed was very comfortable

The first room we were given had a broken bathroom fan and smelled awful. I asked for another room, and while the fan there was working, the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke. Very disappointing experience.
