Unfortunately I cannot provide a good review about this property. Our room was hot. The AC did not work. Had to change rooms at 3AM. I had an ocean view room and they gave me a non ocean view for the same price even though it was smaller, no ocean view and the AC problem was theirs. There was dog poop on the carpet in the hallway right outside the elevator. Elevators weren’t working. Only one and it was very inconvenient to have to wait for over 15 minutes to get back to the room or to come down. Paid parking lot and couldn’t even park on the lot. Had to leave the car on the side of the road where anybody could break into. Paid for parking to NOT use the parking lot. Totally unacceptable. Definitely not a repeat!

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Our room looks dirty. The restroom tub is moldy, our floors look like they haven’t been cleaned. The hallway on floor 3 carpet is horrible, there’s stains and a bad smell. When I asked for extra sheets for the sofa bed, they said no one was available. This is a hotel, hospitality should be #1 priority. I would never recommend this hotel.

Very old facily, poorly maintained with many damage in te rooms, hall and elevators. Extremely expensive and this is not a resort as was mentioned in the description.

Great little getaway for few days

Loved it! Great easy beach access! For it to be an older hotel it was nice and clean but the only thing I would suggest is the minor maintenance on the building looks like the already started renovating.

For the hotel being on the beach, it was not bad at all! Yes, sand feels like it’s everywhere but they do have showers by the pool to rinse off. The experience was great, especially for the price and location.

I’m a Hilton girl typically. Today, for the first time, I made a solo trip to the beach. I come to the beach 6 times a year typically but never alone. Because of that I decided to stay on the beach for safety and convenience (Whitecap instead of my usual PINS). So far so good overall. Unhappy with the pool towel checkout. I’m sorry, but that’s ghetto. You check them out, without much time and no late checkout given (that part I totally get - it’s busy this time of year). But if you don’t come down to the front desk and turn them in 15 mins after the pool opens, they charge you $5. Crazy. I should be able to leave them in my room. I’m checked in….No kind of complimentary breakfast also falls short for me. HOWEVER, I tried Anchor Bar attached to the hotel (again-convenience) and the staff were very sweet, attentive and my food was good: salmon with hollandaise, spinach and loaded potatoes. I would order that again.

Disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel. The floors, bedding, and tub were noticeably dirty, and the bathroom was in serious need of maintenance. Staff response was slow throughout the stay. Elevator felt unreliable and the hallways were in desperate need of carpet cleaning. The TV had limited or non-functioning channels. On the bright side, the AC worked well and the noise level was manageable—but unfortunately, those were the only positives. Parking is tight.

The deck was 5 years past replacing, same with carpet cleanliness in the hallway approaching our room. It looked like an 80’s roller rink.

No air conditioner in a very unsanitary room.

We were not.told that the ac was not working in that room and had been worked on thay day. It was very hot in the room, so i went to the front desk,that is when she told me that the ac had been worked on that day but she would let them know. They brought up a stand alone ac when we were out to dinner. We got back and the ac had leaked all over the floor. We ended up leaving it was very hot in the room still and the room had rust, dirt on the comforter, and bathroom was not clean. I waited at the front desk to talk to someone again. They put a sign up that said "we will be right back" I waited over 20 mins and no one came. We left and decided to come back and talk to someone. When we came back, she said that there was nothing she could do besides offer another room down the hall that ac has had some trouble but we need to accept that because its hot outside.

Guest service at the front desk was exceptionally slow! But! The room was equally as clean. The hotel is notably old, but has been very nicely upgraded. The view from my 5th floor room was the cherry on top!

Early check in is $ 60.00. We opted to check in at the normal time (4:00) but still had to wait as our room was not ready, but did not receive a refund for the wait. The hot tub was not working and the pool is in need of some repairs. If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of summer, this is not for you. The hotel is in need of updating overall. Not worth the price
