We really like this place, this was our second time staying and it may be our preferred place to stay at Ocean Shores. We love that it is pet friendly and we like the canoe rentals. While the rooms are older we like the cozy home like feel but if you are not able to manipulate the tight spiral staircase to the bedroom or tight bathroom spaces it would be a challenging place to stay.

The resort offers once and outdoor activities to do and is right next to the beach. We had four adults and two kids. We all slept comfortably and we were able to cook in the little kitchen for our meals which meant saving us a ton of money from eating out. Will definitely stay again

We had initially booked a rental in Ocean Shores, but when the access code didn't work and the host was MIA, the VRBO rep had to find us another pet friendly location that had a kitchenette. I'm so happy this was the one he rebooked us with! After a stressful afternoon, we were met with friendly, helpful staff and when we arrived in our room they had soothing music playing. The direct beach access, to a mostly deserted stretch of beach (at least in April), was an added bonus. We will definitely be back.

We love Surfcrest! The location in the dunes is great - easy walk to the beach. The resort amenities (pool, sauna, canoes) are terrific and lots of fun. The units are not new but they are very well maintained and clean, with everything you need for a great visit to the coast.
