First the positives. I was in one of the 2 rustic cabins. There was no water source. The cabin was cute inside! The beds were comfortable. It had a dorm size refrigerator, small microwave, coffee pot with some coffee to get you started. I believe it had a small electric heater no air conditioning. It had 2 outdoor chairs on the porch, which I used both mornings. I have no complaints about this small cabin. What was I not happy with. When I made the reservation it said the showers were close by and I recall reading that they were 1/4 mile away. This turned out to be inaccurate. They were at least 5 miles away. And while the store where they were located opened early 5am they closed by 8pm. This was not a bathhouse that you could just pop into to brush your teeth there was a fee to use the facility. I don't know how much because they were closed by the time we returned. The Shell station further down the road also has shower facilities that are 12 for a 1/2 hour. I was also told there was wifi available. But when we went into ask about the password we were directed to the restaurant. The staff member in the restaurant chuckled and told us the password but said it wouldn't work out of the restaurant building. That was an accurate statement. Check in was a bit confusing. I tried several times to try to reach the host about a late check in. I never got a return msg about check-in or the wifi situation. It was adequate but pricey

This was a good transition from previous cabin stays to the camping that happened the day after. Read the description carefully. The information is there, but I somehow missed "dry cabin" and that there was no seating. Sorry to my boys, for whom I booked it.;) They were very thankful for the on-site restaurant since there is little in walking distance. The food quality is similar to a mess hall/cafeteria, and there was live music. If you just need a bed to sleep in, this is the place!:) Everyone was friendly and accommodating. It is also within walking/running distance of Russian Falls, which is a lovely outing. Resurrection Bay Trail is also accessible on foot from camp.
