This mountain home sits on 30 beautiful, wooded acres just South of Hwy 24. It sits high on a hill above the abandoned Colorado Midland Railroad from the 1800’s. Nestled in the pines, it overlooks a stream with several Beaver ponds and visiting wildlife. Feel complete privacy with no other houses in view yet easy access to all local attractions. Close to world class flyfishing at Eleven Mile Canyon, Eleven Mile Reservoir, Spinney Mountain Reservoir and the Dream Stream.
The interior features 1900 sq ft with vaulted ceilings and large picturesque floor to ceiling windows in the spacious living room. A stone accent gas fireplace with 50" plasma TV above, completes the space. The home is superior in quality, featuring warm colors and comfortable furnishings. With the open concept, it is cozy enough for 2, but roomy enough for the whole family. You’ll enjoy cooking your meals in the large, modern, well stocked kitchen or grilling on the deck. Enjoy the Views from the 3 tiered deck or stargaze after a long day of outdoor activities in the 6 person Hot Tub.

As long time pet owners we would love for you to be able to bring your 4 legged family member along. Please advise us of the number and breed of dog you would plan to bring as we do have some restrictions and house rules that allow us to keep our home in pawsitive shape.

We do keep the driveway well plowed of snow in the winter, however the driveway has a few ups and downs, so we do recommend a 4 wheel drive for the winter and spring months.

Perfection!

We stayed 4 nights at Beaver Lodge and could not have been happier. The house was very clean and the location was just what we were looking for. Secluded but easy to get to. Lots of room both inside and out! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals and even had an assortment of spices and odds and ends in the cabinets. The hot tub was a nice added touch as well. Our kids enjoyed the variety of games and movies provided as well. The beds were comfortable but the pillows left us with a stiff neck. Luckily, the second night we found additional pillows in the closet and those helped! If you sleep with the windows open you can hear the traffic from the highway nearby but that didn’t keep us from sleeping. All the hiking and sightseeing we did wiped us out. The shower gets really hot, which was great! Highly recommend Beaver Lodge!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. My hubby is so picky, but even he said this was the best vaca rental we've ever been to! It was so clean, the windows were gorgeous but they have the tug down blinds to keep the afternoon heat out. There is no AC but opening up the windows to let the air in was heavenly! I loved finding new places to explore with my senior dog. she can't do long hikes, and not everywhere is doggo friendly so this was the perfect arrangement. She loved it too! The wifi worked pretty good too. There is also a little ranch with horses at the bottom of the hill. We loved walking all the way down in the morning to see them! The beds were comfy and we had a great time using the grill which is really clean. There were plenty of spices and condiments too. We had such a great time here and we hope to return again! Definitely no regrets!

Perfection! Wonderful home, EPIC VIEWS, EPIC SUNSETS,peaceful and quiet! This is a MUST stay home! Owner response was great and very helpful. The surround sound is a nice bonus too!! Exploring the property makes you feel as if you own the entire place! Lots to do without ever leaving.

Nice retreat

We had a nice quiet stay. enjoyed the hot tub and quiet surrounding, yes we could see Hwy 24 and sometimes hear the trucks but that didn't bother us at all. Easy check in and out. It was worth the stay and I would definitely stay again. Thank you again to the hosts

Gorgeous, well stocked, spacious

The property and location are absolutely stunning. Inside the home is clean, comfortable and beyond accommodating! We traveled with a 1.5 year old and were so grateful to discover the hosts provided a baby gate, high chair, and even more child friendly amenities Basically anything you could possibly need was supplied in the house! We absolutely would love to stay here again!

My wife and i along with our two mini aussies stayed two nights here. It was perfect. Just a short drive from COS we pulled up to a very nice house with all the accommodations we could ask for. We hope to go back soon.

This location was amazing! Definetly bring chains or have a 4 or all wheel drive vehicle. I cooked most of our meals and they provided everything as far as pots, pans & silverware. Hottub was a bonus. Great house and property

Amazing, Again!

This was our second time staying at this property - for a reason. It's a wonderful cabin, secluded, extremely clean and close to everything we want to do. Kyle is an amazing host - very responsive and attentive. My wife and I are already planning our next trip and will be staying here again. Beautiful cabin in the mountains. Very clean, well stocked & great location. Plenty of room for our family of 3. Stargazing was incredible out the front door. It was a great home base for exploring Pikes Peak & Colorado Springs.

Overall the house was great! Especially the hot tub 🙂 The entire family was in it every night spending quality time with each other. However the only thing we didn’t like is the traffic noise from the near by highway, which was busy over Labor Day weekend.

The house and property are at the end of a road, mostly private. No others around, but you are looking down on Hwy 24. The house is well kept and had just about anything you might need available. We were looking for some downtime and this was a fantastic place to stay for relaxing.

Beautiful mountain cabin

The cabin was exactly what I was hoping it would be for our first mountain vacation and we loved exploring the property with our dogs. The cabin is very clean and has all the conveniences of home...wifi, cell service, satellite TV, ect. We cooked most of our meals there and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The location is very conveniently located to Woodland Park and Colorado Springs as well as all of the other outdoor activities in the area. Check in and check out were also very easy. I would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area in the future.

Pleasant Mountain Getaway with Family Fun

Our recent stay at this mountain cabin was a delightful escape, offering both relaxation and adventure. Our boys had a blast exploring the expansive property, which was teeming with wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot deer, beavers, and chipmunks, making the experience truly memorable. The cabin's location is also fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions, allowing us to enjoy a mix of outdoor activities and local sights. However, there were a few drawbacks. The cabin is closer to the highway with more traffic than we expected, so there was more road noise than anticipated. Despite this, the property still maintained a sense of privacy. The living room windows face west, which caused the cabin to heat up during the day. We found that opening the windows at night and welcoming the afternoon rain helped cool things down. One minor issue was the upstairs mattress, which seemed to be nearing the end of its comfort life. Overall, our stay was wonderful, with more pros than cons. We'd recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a mountain retreat with plenty of wildlife and easy access to local attractions.
