In for a retreat

The breakfast offered was horrible. How do you mess up eggs and potatoes? The rest I could have tolerated had that been good.The matress was sinking and the blanket felt like a sheet. Employees were kind people. Weird noises coming from next door and puke found in different areas of the hotel (on the stairs one morning and in front of our door the next) made the experience extra memorable. I realize that part isn't anyone's fault though.

It was pretty bad

Our stay was pretty terrible. At check-in we didn't get any description of where anything was. The side doors to the hotel weren't locked even though it was late. There was a crack between door to our room and the frame big enough we could see the door across the hall. There's not an elevator (which is fine, just weird when anyone upstairs will be hauling luggage). Someone spilled fruit loops and green chili in the stairs. We initially thought it was vomit. The room across from us had a fire alarm go off for a bit in the middle of the night. Then to top it off, someone actually did vomit, right outside our door and we had to step over it to check out. On the upside, breakfast was actually pretty good.

Do NOT stay here!

If you make the mistake of booking this hotel, be sure to bring earplugs or you are not sleeping at all. While this could be a decent hotel and the staff works hard to keep it clean, it feels like you've booked a room in a rowdy college dormitory. No attempts are made to quiet the excessive noise, screaming and door slamming in the rooms and hallways until 2:30 am. The breakfast is disgusting and the hot tub, while beautiful in the pictures, has no working jets. The shower is terrible. The heater is excessively loud. The area is uncomfortably sketchy. This is not a place to vacation or rest... my family and I got no sleep over two nights!

Clean and renovated.

The room and property were immaculate. Don't let the neighborhood deter you from considering the property. Everything was great. Bring an extra pillow or two if you are picky about that.
