The pool is a welcome area of peace in a very busy city. Staff friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel has very little of interest, but very cheap tuk-tuks get you around teh city quickly

Check-in took a while as there was a problem with other guests. There were two staff dealing with that when one should have checked me in rather than me waiting for 15 mins. It was fine but each time I go it feels a bit more run down.

We enjoyed our stay at Renuka City Hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds really comfortable. We really enjoyed the beautiful pool on the roof - a welcome break in the heat of the middle of the day. Breakfast was delicious and offered lots of choice. I would really recommend the hotel. The only thing I would note is that I think some of the plug sockets might need checking as one or two seemed to be overheating when we charged our phones.

The hotel was really good for the price! It’s a good location, the room was really clean and the gym and pool are small and basic but nice. The restaurant serves really great Sri Lankan food and I loved the room service is very quick and there are things you can get 24 hours a day! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. My bathroom shower was a bit wonky so that is why I am not giving 5 stars but overall my stay was really good!
