We were only there for about 12 hours as an overnight on the way to Marburg - so no chance to explore the area. Room was super clean and staff was helpful - location was super close to the trains.

I read many reviews that said the Air Conditioning was broken, or being fixed. When I checked-in, they told me that only certain room designations had A/C. I pointed to my Superior Room on the App, that indicated A/C and I was told that is not the case. I also pointed out that the hotel on Expedia, indicates it has A/C. Turns out ownership does not like to cool the rooms, just the restaurant and common areas. Will be speaking to Expedia for a refund.
This is the thermostat that is not even powered on.
This little fan was the "Sorry we have no A/C" solution.

Hot hotel in a bad way...

The air conditioning was out during a European heat wave so it was quite miserable in our room. We were ot informed of this when we checked in and noticed immediately. We had an ill family member that needed to rest, so it was made worse. We requested a fan and were denied rudely by the evening clerk, who also wouldn't open the bar. The hotel was nice, and the breakfast was good, and the day clerk was lovely, but it was a sleepless night.

30mins waiting to check in. No acknowledgement or apology. Premium doubled booked and given a pokey room with two single beds.

Close to train station stay

There was no air conditioning in our room, there was no laundry service, even though it was listed as an amenity, the rooftop lounge was not safe and off-limits, the flooring in the lobby was exposed concrete, maybe renovations? The location was a little questionable walking from the hotel and getting to the train station… Didn’t always feel safe.

Overall it was fine. It was hot though, and the a/c was useless. The front desk person remarked that folks in Germany didn’t like it to be so cold. Thankfully it was cooler in the morning and we had these really cool windows you could open and look over the street below. It did have its charm.

The hotel was easy to find and a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Staff were welcoming and check in was easy. Hotel and room were really clean and bed was comfortable. Only negatives were that there was a noise every hour or so in the vents or hotel that sounded like rubbing metal that kept waking me you and that the shower head attached to the shower pole wouldn't stay up after tightening. So unless you're 4 foot tall, you would have to use the shower like a wand.

Great Find!

Excellent location (7 mins walk from Cathedral) and lots of places to eat nearby. Stayed on the ground floor - very quiet inside and outside the hotel. Service was outstanding and provided great recommendations for both places to visit and eat/drink. Excellent shower (power and heat) Work being undertaken in the lobby but didn't disrupt/impact our stay. Stored our luggage on the last day. Would go again. Had a minibar, but no kettle/tea/coffee
