Room was great, bed and bedding very nice. Location is excellent and close to everything. Our room had a view of the Cathedral tower. I was provided my VIP perk without having to ask, which I really appreciate. At check in we were provided with a host of wonderful dining options. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean room - we had a great view of the cathedral from our room which was lovely. Service was exceptional - Daniel at the front desk upgraded our room and he was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Location is very central and local to a lot of bars and pubs, plus the cathedral and train station. Great sound proofing of our room - it was a noisy friday night on the street below but when we shut our windows, couldn’t hear anything. Overall great stay.

Perfect location to Cologne Cathedral

I picked this hotel because of its location. 10mins walk from Cologne main station and a few minutes from Cologne Cathedral. The room was perfect for one person and soundproofing was fantastic so I had no problem sleeping. Highly recommended.

Great location on pedestrian street near Dom. Rooms are very small, but clean and reasonably well equipped with fridge and iron and mini ironing board. Some noise from the street and the bells of the Dom, but the soundproofing with the window closed was ok. The air con unit was difficult to use and not super-effective.

Alter Markt is a happening place. Great location for food, nightlife and shopping. At arrival my room AC was broken and they did not have another room for me until the next day. The room is quite small and the bed is quite hard. They do have new double pain windows so the street noise is very minimal. For the rate they charged me (during Gamescom) I would have expected more. But overall it is fine and even very good if the rate is $200-$300 a night but not worth the $500 a night I was paying

Nothing to not like! Excellent property close to old town and extremely friendly and helpful staff!! The rooms are mini apartments loaded with everything from microwave, dishes, dishwasher and even an ironing board with iron!! Highly recommended!!
