Best Western - accommodation in Collina d'Oro

Where do I begin? I took my wife here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breathtaking views overlooking Lake Lugano made every moment of our stay feel special. We truly loved every second of it. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. Their hospitality felt genuine and heartfelt rather than forced. Even team members who didn’t speak English well made a sincere effort to answer our questions and ensure we felt welcome. A special shout-out goes to the restaurant manager, Firas. He is a genuinely warm and hospitable person who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction did not go unnoticed. I’d also like to thank the wonderful lady (did not grab her name, afternoon shift) at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to recharge, relax, and immerse themselves in beautiful natural

Great breakfast in the middle of everything.

Really good stay! I felt some of the staff weren’t very accommodating as I had just come from Swiss diamond and had a slightly elevated experience. One negative I will give this is this place gatekeeps water worse than I’ve seen for a 5 star hotel across Europe. For a 2 day stay I spent $211 on just water… and yes you can drink the tap water but I shouldn’t be expected to fill from the bathroom sink the entire time. The restaurant staff weren’t wonderful and they’re the main reason I kept this at a 4. I think if you bring a case of waters to the hotel it probably will be wonderful but paying $10 every time I was thirsty stung a bit.
