Reception closes at 18:00 which is insane for running a motel on the thoroughfare Sydney to Brisbane. Yet, my check in at around 19:00 was possible as the operator was hiding in her office and DID open the door to allow access. The room was 1970s plus a brush-up (lipstick), adequate, nothing spectacular except for the price of around AUD 250 perhaps due to short-term booking. Worth AUD 250? No.

Good average motel room, quiet, large bathroom, clean - every thing you need for an overnight stay during a longer road trip. Close to the Bowls club for a lovely Chinese meal and around the corner from a great bakery cafe for breakfast on the run (try the cinnie scrolls, good coffee - allpress). Would stay again.
