We just stayed for the night and the room was lovely, it was nice and clean and thankfully pet friendly! The staff were lovely and really helpful and we had food at the connected steakhouse which was great. Would stay again if visiting the area

Perfect location right in the centre of town. Very clean and recently renovated room and modern bathroom. Bottled water tea and coffee provided in room. Decent in house bar and restaurant but no breakfast provided. Good WiFi but no free parking .. paid parking 1 min walk opposite. Good value for money.

The hotel is a comfortable one, with friendly and helpful staff. My room had all the usual amenities. I have stayed before, when a major plus was a very good breakfast using local produce. It was therefore disappointing to discover that the hotel no longer does breakfast at all.

The staff was great. The price was good. A consistent problem was the shower. First, the narrow semi circular units are too small. Second, the water pressure and temperature wouldn’t stay consistent. It’s a dated property. But overall, the price, location, and staff were great.

The staff were very helpfull. The person on reception carried my case up for me. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only problem I had was that I have leg problems and there is no lift. Because the hotel is 300 years old there is no way a loft could be installed. I'm glad I stayed there.
