Wonderful overnight stay with our springer spaniel . Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly room in the Annex with a fabulous view . Set in wonderful grounds with lovely outdoor areas and enjoyed a great circular walk down to the river. A beautiful period hotel in a lovely setting. Food in the restaurant is excellent and not pricey, which often happens with hotels as they have a captive audience. Staff were helpful and courteous. My only niggle and it's a personal thing. It's a beautiful place but they appear to have bought a job lot of plastic trees covered in blossoms. It's such a beautiful place, do it a favour and lose the tacky plastic trees. Then people will be able to fully appreciate the beautiful period features, especially in the dinning room where there are 3 of the horrible things.
