The check in experience is always the same , I find it quite robotic and impersonal . ID £50 deposit Breakfast details , check out Dinner reservation . No welcome back , how was your day and plans etc … just an observation compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at . They need more Rudolph’s in the place for me ! His manners and personality are second to none .

Lovely room with country aspect. Very comfortable bed. Warm, clean and quiet. Well equipped gym. Superb meal at Bertram's restaurant Excellent gym and pool included in stay. Spa looked wonderful but did not have time to try this

When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful. The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus
