The staff are very kind and helpful. Plus the area is conveniently located to some very interesting locations such as the flea market right across the street, Manatee Springs and Clay Landing just a little ride down the road and Fanning Springs is the next town over. ABC Pizza, the restaurant a couple doors down, has wonderful food and service. The hotels pool looks very clean and inviting. Another positive is that the included breakfast we chose was the yummy make your own waffles. There’s other typical cold breakfast offerings also such as milks, cereals, fruits, breads, bagels and mini muffins. The part I feel is in need of improvement is the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. The overwhelming mold/musty smell was present at all times while in our room, the bed had a ball of hair between the sheets, the floors were so dirty that when I sat on the bed’s edge and took my socks and shoes off to shower by the time I reached the bathroom my feet were so filthy from the floor that the bath mat had a complete black footprint on it when I went to step into the shower.

Yuck!

The room was very dirty on the corners and about 2 feet up the walls. Fixtures in the bathroom had rust and mildew on them. Only redeeming quality was good pillows.

Checking in went smoothly; however, she showed no enthusiasm for her job or the company. The towels in the room had stains , the breakfast was about an hour late. The price wee paid is higher than I would have expected for what we got.
