    Accommodation In Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai is one of Thailand's great retreats and an ideal place to clear the mind. Our Chiang Rai hotels will allow you to fully embrace the relaxed atmosphere of the region whilst also providing a great base for the famed trekking opportunities on offer.

Visiting Chiang Rai and not trekking would be like attending a football match and then choosing not to watch, in other words it just isn't done. Chiang Rai is located in amongst glorious mountain terrain and surrounded by thick jungle and this makes the town an absolutely perfect place from which to launch a trek of up to five days. Plenty of tour operators exist in the town and offer different packages which tend to involve a combination of mountain trekking, elephant safaris, boat trips and visits to hill tribe villages and communities. After seeing the hill tribes in person, a popular attraction to learn more about their histories and way of life is the Hill Tribe Museum located in the town.

The cooler temperatures of Chiang Rai also provide much needed respite from the cauldron of Bangkok and encourage you to take part in the other outdoor activities on offer including bicycle tours. A bicycle tour will whisk you through the tranquil countryside via rice paddies, Thai villages and fruit orchards. After a day spent soaking up the culture and life of Northern Thailand, collapsing in one of our hotels in Chiang Rai is the perfect way to finish.

If you want to escape your Chiang Rai hotel at night time a great place to visit is the night market located near the centre of town. Here food can be found in abundance, in particular Northern Thai food but also dishes from around the country and even around the world. Hill tribe handicrafts are also on sale and souvenirs can be bought to remember your enchanting Chiang Mai experience.
