front desk clerk was extremely friendly & changed our initial room after it had a very bad smell of mildew & BO. 2nd room was much better but AC/heat unit didn’t work properly. not much around the area although Logan’s was good. it’s convenient being right off the highway though. pool wasn’t great & no pool towels available.

When I made the reservation with my card, I didn’t pay at that moment because I had selected the option to pay at the hotel. When I arrived, the person at the front desk told me that she had already charged that card, even though I wanted to use a different one. I found that very unpleasant, as I wasn’t given the opportunity to change the payment method. Other than that, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good for the price, and the area was beautiful and safe — conveniently close to restaurants. Everything else was great.
