Private Guest Suite by Wineries/Orchards/Cville

Welcome to Deer Hideout Retreat! We are located in Palmyra, Virginia on two acres of land. There is so much to do and see around here, and we hope you choose our home for your stay. We are surrounded by several vineyards, we are a 19-minute drive to Monticello, and 28 minutes away from the city center of historic Charlottesville.
Our guests will be staying on the lower ground level of our home. This has its own private entrance leading to a walk-out patio area with a coffee table, love seat and two chairs. The private guest suite also includes your own bathroom with shower, mini refrigerator, and a bar area complete with a small sink. We have a Dreamcloud CA King size bed. If there are more than two guests, we will put out an additional queen size bed. (When booking, please select the number of guests so we can have the bed ready). We have provided a coffee machine (with coffee), tea, utensils, cutting board, plates, bowls, mugs, and glasses. Guests will have absolute privacy during their stay. If there is anything you might need, please let us know and we will do our best to make your stay more enjoyable.
We live on the top two floors of our home with our dog, two cats, and child, so you may hear some noise and a few foot steps from time to time, but we always try to keep things quiet. You may also hear an occasional bark or meow. We do not allow our pets into the guest suite.
Guests will have the entire lower ground level of our home with its own private entrance. Guests will also be free to roam the property (2 acres). Our property is family-friendly, and there is a large grass area to let your children run and play.
We have provided a parking space just for our guests . There will be a mulched pathway that leads our guests down to the guest suite entrance.
We do live on the property, however we give our guests their complete privacy. We are both more than happy to help out in any way and answer any questions you might have.
We do welcome pets. There is a one time $40 pet fee. Please add pet while booking. Pets need to stay off furniture and please pick up after your pet goes potty.
We have an automatic lock on the guest suite door, and the code will be given to you before your arrival. Please use this code when you are entering the code, and the door will unlock.
Upon checkout, there will be a paper on the counter for instructions.
Pet(s) live on property - We have a dog that lives on the property. She will bark during arrivals and departures, but she is always fenced in.
Potential for noise - We live on the top two floors with our dog, two cats, and child, so there may be noise at times, (mainly from the dog). You may hear an occasional bark or meow. However, we will do our best to keep it to a minimum.
Surveillance or recording devices on property - There are numerous cameras on the property (outdoors only), for your safety and ours.
We welcome you to make your self at home, we just have a few rules that we would appreciate if you followed them. There is no smoking, vaping, or any type of drug use allowed on the property (this includes outdoors). Any evidence of this, including smell, will result in a minimum $500 fine, and you will be asked to leave.
No unauthorized guests are allowed on the property. No parties or events are allowed. There is a limit to four guests. If you have more children, and they can share the second bed, that is not a problem. Please let us know how many guests there will be so we can set up the second bed. Pets are allowed. There will be a one time $35 fee for pets. Please mark down that you will be bringing a pet. You can either pay the pet fee through the website or leave the cash on the bar counter. Any damage caused by a guest or pet will be charged through VRBO. Disrespect of the guest suite or property will not be tolerated. Please treat our property how you would your own. We would kindly ask you to take off your shoes if there is any mud outside. Please keep hands and legs away from dog:) "She is always fenced in".
