Whiskey Sunsets: Stunning Peninsula Retreat with Panoramic Lake Views, Dock, Hot Tub, and More!

Located on a peninsula, you can enjoy the most amazing sunsets and panoramic lake views from virtually every room in the house.
The house has recently been updated and has 5 bedrooms spread on all of its 3 levels. The upper floor includes three large bedrooms and a bathroom. The main floor has the large kitchen with updated appliances, the main living room with a huge sectional couch and large Smart TV. Also on this floor is the very large primary Bedroom with expansive lake views and an amazing ensuite bathroom. Have fun on the lower level where you will find a games room with a second kitchen, pool table, pinball machine, and watch the game in the large lounging area with a huge couch and large Smart TV.
The covered dock is equiped for you to bring your boat and/or jet skis. No boat....we have a 2022 23' Pontoon boat that's available to rent. We provide at no charge 3 Kayaks and 3 Paddle boards along with several life jackets of various sizes for your safety.

To further enjoy the outdoors there's a Gazebo for viewing the sunsets and a fire pit to cook those ever important Smores.

This property is very special and will provide you and your guests a wonderful setting to relax and have a fantastic vacation on Lake Norman. There is a boat House on the property but rents seperately. If you need more space we have it. We have frontier and driveway cameras for your security.

Spent a week here with my grown children and 5 infants/ toddlers and 2 pets. Great location. Super dog friendly. Lake views are awesome. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was large and well maintained. Saw deer swimming from the island across the lake.. would stay again…boat rental from lake Norman rentals made the week. Less than 5 minute boat ride.vet owned and I would recommend them over lake effects.

We had a great stay. The home is perfect for a large group. Very well stocked and lots of room. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. Rented the pontoon boat for a day. We will be back next year!

Wonderful family reunion

This is the second time we and our large family have stayed here, using both the main house and the boat house. Two years ago, it had different owners, and was a great vacation. With the new owners it has become a superb vacation spot! The changes they made are fantastic – they have thought of every detail. The kitchens were extremely well equipped and updated; S'mores kits were provided; welcoming packages on arrival. We also love that they are so dog friendly. This has been our best family vacation on the lake!

For 25 years our family has gathered over the 4th of July week. Many years in our own beach house but for the last 4 in a lake house. This is far and away the best we have had. The house is wonderful, the location perfect and the hosts the most welcoming we have ever had. Activities galore, great dock. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you hosts

Best Family House

What an amazing week! Grandparents, 4 adults, 4 kids (8-18), 2 small dogs. Could not have been a better house for us! Walked in to a special treat from the owners to start the week off with a smile. So much larger and spaced out than the pictures reflect. We take 2 family trips a year with all ten of us and this has been one of the best houses! Really big and so nicely spaced. All rooms were great, beds were so comfortable! Game room and downstairs was GREAT! We rented the pontoon from the owners and they brought it to us and retrieved it at the end, could not have been any smoother or convenient! Open living area, open kitchen, great outdoor seating with gorgeous views. Location on lake was perfect! Paddle boards, kayaks, You feel like you are far away from everything, but all the giant stores (Publix, Costcos, Sam’s, etc.) were within a 10 min drive. We are already considering coming back to the same location next year because it could not have gone more smoothly!

BOOK IT!! We left today and are already making plans to return!

Our family traveled from 3 different states to meet for Thanksgiving. We had 8 adults and 6 children. This home was PERFECT for everyone young and old. The outside space is incredible - so much outdoor seating, 3 fire pit options, kayaks, life jackets, and amazing views of the lake (and so quiet!). The indoor space is huge and we were all amazed with how comfortable the beds were. Lots of entertainment inside too (pool table, ping pong table, game cabinet, Wi-Fi, TV, etc…). House was very clean. The host were available by phone and extremely flexible, kind, and accommodating. We’re already dreaming up our next visit.
