I had a very pleasant stay at Red Roof Inn Mount Pleasant. The location is excellent—convenient to shopping, dining, and just a short drive to downtown Charleston and local beaches. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating from check-in through check-out. I especially appreciated how quiet and safe the property felt, which is not always easy to find when traveling. For the price point, this Red Roof Inn exceeded expectations. It offers great value, comfort, and convenience, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Mount Pleasant or Charleston area.

Although the Red Roof Inn Plus in Mount Pleasant is an older property, it is impressively maintained. The rooms are super clean, the grounds are tidy, and the pool area is lovely and well cared for. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff, from the friendly and accommodating front desk team to the hardworking housekeeping crew. Their kindness and professionalism made all the difference. Kudos to the Red Roof Inn Plus in Mount Pleasant for giving a single mom and her son a clean, comfortable respite while our home was being repaired from a natural disaster. Your hospitality provided us with much-needed peace of mind during a difficult time.

I made a reservation for a handicap room, instead we were placed in a room without handicap facilities and a long walk to get to the room. the bath room door was mis-alligned and would not close, the floors were very slick. I fell and was on the floor behind the door, my wife could not open the door because I was behind it on the floor. For someone alone, this room is a death trap!

The location was everything. Charleston Harbor, shops and restaurants in the Mount Pleasant area, . . . Shem Creek too. It did not disappoint for the price. Just an FYI, as the hotel is somewhat dated, but it was clean, it was safe and the price was unbeatable for being at the base of the Ravenel Bridge crossing over into Charleston.
