I paid for a deluxe room with a balcony, thinking it was the best way to experience the hotel through an expansive view of the city. They stuck me on the third floor, with a balcony backed up to a concrete wall, and two sides of the building itself flanking the balcony. Zero views of anything. I mean, zero. The room was an insult. It should not be offered to visitors. Food: Really quite terrible. Mediocrity dressed up in southern finery. That said, the staff was exceptionally well trained. Kind. Helpful. Knowledgeable. The location is great. I doubt I would stay a second time
