Quick stay

Decent room size and the beds were comfortable. The views from the windows were amazing. Bathroom amenities were nice. We showed up at 9:53 for breakfast and they didn’t want to serve us unless we hurried so we skipped it and went to our other hotel. We didn’t use the pool or spa which was extra anyway. Easy walk to the train to get into town as well. The hotel is in a very quiet part of town and we slept well.

Great hotel with stunning views of Mont Blanc! Great breakfast buffet, great parking, nice quiet location. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the heart of Chamonix and l’aiguille de Midi. So if you want a hotel outside of the busy area but close and convenient, this is for you.

Yet, I’m still trying to iron out an excessive charge on a credit card even though I had paid in advance through Expedia at the time I booked the room (2nights). We stayed for a ski break. We had a hire car, and used it for the various ski areas - which worked really well, but there was also ski bus stop150 metres down the road. The beds are really comfortable, the half board food excellent and we loved the friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, our room was not a 4 star. Maybe 2.5 - 3 star. The advertised spa and hot tub are an additional charge of 20 Euros per person per hour, which was not evident in the hotels.com feature. The breakfast was very good. This hotel is a long way out of town, which would have been fine, if the hot tub was included in the price...
