**Property Description**
Apartment Longview is a modern four bedroom, four bathroom apartment, sleeping 8 guests located in the centre of Chamonix. Its three spacious balconies give guests spectacular views of Mont Blanc and there is outdoor seating so they can be fully enjoyed and make an excellent spot to watch the sunset over the mountains. The large living space has a log fire and plenty of comfy sofas so makes a great space to relax for both groups of friends or families.

Apartment Longview benefits from an excellent location in the centre of Chamonix. Just a 5 minute walk from the pedestrianised high street and in winter also just a couple of minute’s walk to the Savoy nursery slope. From here you can access the Brévent ski area via a drag lift to the main Brévent lift. The tennis courts, sports centre and famous QC Terme spa are also just a few minutes on foot. A bus stop just outside the apartment gives easy access to the rest of the Chamonix Valley for those wanting to explore the other villages or ski areas. There are numerous excellent cafes, bars and restaurants and the largest supermarket in Chamonix is under 5 minutes walk. Apartment Longview makes an excellent base for families or groups of friends who would like the fantastic convenience of a central Chamonix location.
**The details**
Apartment Longview is set over two floors on the top floor of an apartment building with lift. As you enter the apartment there is a bright open plan living/dining/kitchen area with log fire, comfortable sofas, TV and large dining table. Large glass doors open onto two balconies with seating and incredible views of Mont Blanc. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave and coffee machine. On this floor are two bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms. One bedroom sleeps 3 with a set of bunk beds and a single bed, the other sleeps 1 in a raised single bunk. On the upper floor there are two double bedrooms, one with double doors opening onto a balcony. One bedroom has an ensuite shower room, the other has an adjacent bathroom with a bath. Externally there is a designated parking space in a private underground garage and a ski/kit storage area.
**What’s Included**
Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions. Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Agency apartments.
**Payment terms and Cancellation**
To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged. If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable. Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €500 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.

Apartment Longview - Chamonix
Great property for our family trip! We were a group of 8, all adult family. Cozy dinners in the dining room. Easy walking to the market and restaurants. The online description is accurate. We own a similar rental home in Mammoth Lakes, CA and this reminded us of our home there. Hats off also to the management company, Alpes Travel. Love their "optional packages". We got the goodies bag! Also love La Roulotte, a short walk for great pizza and empanadas!We will have wonderful memories forever. Thank you!

Great potential but an epic fail.
First of all, finding the way into the apartment was like a scavenger hunt! This is not a hyperbolic statement. We would be out of luck if we hadn't encountered an Alps travel agent! Locking and locking the apartment door required a full sentence in the check-in instructions! An upgrade to digital door locks is badly needed.
The apartment was very dirty; The floors were sticky, the couch was covered in crumbs, and the rugs were dirty! There was only one towel provided for each of our 8 guests and we had three women in our group. After insisting, we were delivered 8 more towels. We had about 1 and 1/2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and two trash bags provided for an 8-day stay for 8 people! We had to spend our own money on both. The coat cupboard was cluttered with 2 non-working vacuum cleaners causing the doors not to close. We had no broom in the place and after a kitchen spill, we had to get on our hands and knees with paper towels to clean it up. The extra pillows and extra duvets were filthy and had no pillowcases or duvet covers. If someone got cold or needed an extra pillow, they were out of luck! We had to go down to the Super U market and buy sheets to protect us from the filth! In general, the place was a mess! The checkout instructions ask us to remove the trash and the only trash deposit was a few blocks away into the town. This is a big ask for people headed to the airport.
In closing, the place has potential but needs attention!
