This hotel is awesome. We decided to stay over night in Death Valley and I was skeptical because it’s listed at 2.5 stars. Everything was great. You get your own little villa, which has a washer/dryer in the unit, bedroom, bathroom, and living room. The complex is like a little town with 2 restaurants, a general store, and an ice cream parlor. There’s also a warm spring fed pool that’s open 8am-11pm. Bed was comfortable. Everything exceeded expectations.

This is a very lovely inn inside Death Valley. It combines the wild west charm with modern ammenities like stores, shops, pool, charging ports, etc. Wifi works well even at the farthest building. Out of hand soap though.

We pulled in after a long day of driving and were pleasantly surprised that there was an ice cream parlor, general store, saloon and restaurant on the premises. We waited until evening to go swimming and it was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay!

When we arrived in the room, we noticed that the carpet had not been vacuumed. Next, we found a used washcloth in the shower and the bathroom floor was dirty. The maid was in the hallway so we asked her to go over it again, but I don’t think she sterilized the bathroom.

When we walked in the room our beds were all ruffled up like someone had been laying on them. One of them, the mattress cover wasn’t even tucked under but bunched up under the sheet. The carpet had several stains on it. There was paper and pieces of garbage under the desk like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The bottom of the toilet needed to be cleaned also. I just feel that the room could have been a lot cleaner.

Very good and beautiful property inside the park. There is a general store inside but has high prices. So I would recommend to bring your own packaged food. Restaurants options are good though.

For a place with no other options, this hotel had everything we needed. We especially loved the AA woman in the dining area. She took wonderful care of us. The location was absolutely gorgeous. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms had plenty of space.
