This hotel is amazingly convenient to the Mercedes Amphitheater and Riverwalk. There are lots of walkable food and drink options just up the hill.
Parking is a bit scarce, even not on game days. You get a permit to use their lot, but it can get hard to find a spot near the hotel.
There is a small but fun rooftop (bar? restaurant?).
My only issue with the hotel is the walls are paper thin. We heard everything. Not even noise from rowdy revelers. We weren't there on a game day. Just normal families going to their rooms and the woman in the next room having a normal phone conversation at 3 am. Heard every word and it didn't sound like she was raising her voice. Going to bed, it sounded like the upstairs neighbors were holding a craps game on the floor of their room. Who can possibly drop that many things for that duration? So the good beds and ample pillows didn't much matter when we heard every living thing happening in our wing. Sad, because the location is top notch!!!
