Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was tired and the bedding actually felt damp. The location is good from the point of view of being near shops and restaurants but the noise at night was awful and the street did not feel like a good street to be in.

Hotel is in a very central location, which makes it easy to get to everything in Cardiff, the castle, shops, food, the lot! However, the parking facility is two blocks away, which isn’t entirely convenient.

Convenient to both train station and town facilities. Room was well appointed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. With no fridge in the room ( quite a foreign concept to Aussies), we had no way to cool drinks. We don’t drink tea or coffee so like cool drinks. The staff were happy to provide us with buckets of ice to keep drinks cold.

Pros: Close to shops bars and cafes.
Cons: A lot in this particular room could be improved upon. The entrances and lifts were very disjointed. car parking closer to hotel.
Location: Shops and night life in the middle of where we were.palace and millinieum stadium close by.
We were very disappointed with our room 401 as after day one we discovered it had serious and constant water problems on the bathroom floor. This required us to use bath mat and towels at all times.the drapes in the room on one side had very few usable hooks and let a lot of light through.the room in general was dark due to small windows and was cold also.the girls on reception were very apologetic and kind and understanding when we bought these matters to their attention.very friendly and helpful female bar staff.very helpful male reception staff member when we arrived(Marcus)with all our luggage.toilet seat also very wobbly which may cause back injuries to guests.
