An Ok stay

A 2 night stay ….. we’ve Stayed in Clayton hotels before , but for some reason this hotel seamed bang average . Corridors and rooms looked a little tired , marks on carpets and lots of maintenance issues in the room .restaurant and reception areas looked fine . Breakfast was ok but overall expected better . We stayed a night in the premier inn opposite on day 1 which was a really nice experience in rooms and communal areas where lovely , clean and fresh .day 2 and 3 we thought we’d treat ourselves to the Clayton and I really didn’t see the extra £75 difference per night . Wouldn’t return as our experience in the hotel wasnt up to the price tag per night. Overall Disappointed in the Clayton.
