Situated in Elham an AONB, The Workshop is perfect for nature lovers, hikers and also Euro tunnel stops. Walking distance from good pubs that allow dogs (torches or headlights required after dark), a quintessential village with a kids park and with epic views over the valley. Enjoy a local wine sitting on your own terrace in the summer or get cosy in the winter in the cottage or around the country pub fire. Great place to stay for small families and couples looking for a country escape.Ground Floor

Enter the property into a lovely open plan living space with Kitchen Lounge and dining area for 4 adults all overlooking wonderful garden views. There is a TV and a DVD player.

A sunny spot surrounded by plants with outside seating for 2.
The Workshop is situated on two acres of garden at Old Mount. The perimeter has wire fencing with a post and rail gate. The gardens are part of Old Mount barn so shared with owners only. We ask that you stay with your dogs when letting them outside.

Things you need to know:

The Workshop can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children. This property is not suitable for 4 adults.
Starter essentials such as a toilet roll, a dishwasher tablet, washing up liquid etc. but guests will be required to top up once finished during their stay.
The bathroom is upstairs and only accessible through the bedroom. There is a small bath and shower head. Please note the upstairs is a "loft" space and therefore pitched either side.
The Workshop has 3 steps leading into it.

Nice property. Small bed

1 3/4 bed, not double although enough space in bedroom for a king size, and I'm sorry to say, the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever experienced. Dead flies and spider webs around the property but otherwise fairly clean. Small TV. Impractical bath, no shower curtain, had to shower crouched in the bath to avoid water spilling over the bath. Bathroom door doesn't shut or gets stuck if managed to close. Muddy parking area. Beautiful property, nicely decorated and lovely area

Prachtige plek

Het was een prachtige plek in Elham. Mooi rustig maar op een kort ritje naar dichtbijzijde supermarkt en stadje.De workshop was mooi ingericht en ruim! De hygiëne was niet goed. Ik had het idee dat er niet was schoongemaakt toen we aankwamen. In de badkamer was er alleen een bad waar je in moet zitten om te kunnen douchen. Zou fijn zijn geweest als dat duidelijker was aangegeven. Over het algemeen een mooi verblijf! Mooie plek en omgeving, voor 2 nachten prima!!
