This Luxury Lakefront vacation home has all the extras to make for a perfect vacation. From the moment you arrive, no detail has been overlooked to make your stay relaxing, memorable and a great time. Sunset Cove has luxurious interior and exterior accommodations thoughtfully planned to provide the ultimate vacation stay. As you arrive a flat, level driveway greets you providing plenty of room for vehicles and boat trailer storage and easy access to your vacation home. Kentucky stone and cedar siding accents blend beautifully with the large private, wrap-around decks. Wrought iron deck railings provide seamless sunset and sunrise views of Lake Barkley. A private covered boat dock is easily accessed from the decks by a wooden walkway and stairs. A gas grill, and abundance of outdoor seating are provided for outdoor dinners and relaxing in a private setting as Sunset Cove backs to Corps property, and is located on a private cul-de-sac. Pocket french doors on the upper and lower levels bring the outdoors inside, along with the outdoor surround sound system. A secluded location, Sunset Cove also provides easy access to downtown Cadiz, and I-24.

Labor Day Weekend

This house is beautiful! Plenty of space and beds for our group of 8. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the pool table downstairs. Having dock access is a must for us, so this house also met that criteria. As other reviews have said, there are a lot of stairs, but we didn’t have a problem. Great weekend at Lake Barkley! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. Gary was very attentive to any questions we had. The house is very nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. All the appliances are updated and there is an excellent grill on the deck. I would definitly recommend this property.

Very relaxing

This property was exactly as it was listed. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. The owners were very helpful and even addressed an issue with the power on the dock for us so we could utilize it and the lights during our stay for fishing. Great week of relaxing and fishing! Would definitely stay again.

Our family trips for the past few years we have gone to Lake Cumberland. This was our first trip to Lake Barkley and it was everything we were hoping for. Beautiful lake house

My four sisters and I had a great time together at this beautiful house on Lake Barkley. The owners, Gary and Teresa, met us upon arrival and were very attentive to our questions about the property and surrounding area. Their communication was excellent. The house is a short drive to restaurants and grocery and about a 45 minute drive to Patti’s Settlement in Grand Rivers. We would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean property. Easy access. Quite a few atepa down to lake. Kitchen stocked except for paper towels and garbage bags and dishwasher cleaners. Good Wi-Fi. Nice firepit with wood and chairs. Nice deck overlooking the lake. Electronics all worked . We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Lake Getaway

We had a great time at Gary's property. We reached out to him once with a question and he was very responsive and helpful. We cooked at the house quite a bit and found the kitchen to be well stocked with staples (cutting boards, silverware, crock pot, coffee pot, pots & pans, etc.). We loved the dock access and the kids were able to jump off and swim around and fish and have a generally good time.

Vacation at the Lake

We decided to have our family reunion at Lake Barkley, and this was one of five homes our family rented in the area. The home was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The three levels of this home allowed ten of us to spread out comfortably. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks with our morning coffee and looking out on the lake. A couple people had to work remotely and the Wifi allowed for that. The Wifi stopped working once and eventually started again. The walk to the dock was long with rest spots and chairs along the way. Four people in our group used the stairs as a morning workout routine with one person completing 12 cycles! It was nice to have a dock as we rented a pontoon boat for a couple days. Overall, we had a great time!

Sunset cove

Property was very clean and well maintained .the owners Gary and Teresa were very friendly and accessible if we had any questions. There is a lot of stairs to the boat dock and the drive is a bit of a challenge if you are pulling a boat. The Harper House restaurant has some of the best food you will find anywhere. Overall we had an awesome time

Annual Family Trip

Nice modern place with plenty of room and amenities. Awesome location just off Lake Barkley with covered boat slip. Stairs to/from boat slip a challenge for older guests or guests with leg/hip issues...but resting spots provided for breaks. Pool table and kitchenette in basement was a hit for us. Some of the matresses and box springs are ready for replacement but overall comfortable large bedrooms.15min to groceries and other stores. Highly recommend and will stay again if we're ever back out that way.

The property has been well maintained and very comfortable! Plenty of room for everyone…for a family of 8, we never felt cramped! Loved the sunsets and the nights by the fire as well as the convenience of the dock and marina to go boating during the day!

Beautiful home with gorgeous sunsets. Loved the three floors each with their own full bathroom. Private boat dock was nice to have, but be in shape for that staircase. 😬 Gary and Theresa were great host and very quick to text back with any questions we may have had.

Great for a fall getaway!

This home was absolutely perfect for a fall trip! Feels very private at the end of the cul-de-sac. Wonderful views of the trees and water. Great layout of bedrooms/bathrooms, extremely clean and spacious. Great parking area as well. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet getaway

The home was very nice and had all the amenities for our whole family. Getting to the boat dock from the house is a 94 step walkway. Good workout but not for the faint of heart. Nice sunsets!

This home was the perfect setting for a family gathering!

We had family from tennessee come for dinner! The home was perfect for our mexican feast from " No WAY JOSE'S" . GARY AND THERESA thought of everything we could possibly need.including propane for the quality very well kept grill to soap and LOADS of wii games! The bed in the main level was excellent. I personally loved the pillows. We played hide and seek alot thats our family thing! The reasonable price with High quality amenities made our yearly family vaca fantastic!! We try different places every labor day weekend around Tennessee and Kentucky. We meet there because we come from 5 different states and its centrally located. So far this was our favorite!! Thanks again Gary and Theresa for supplying such a gem for important family memories!!!
