New Starlink Internet really fast. Handicap accessible home , very comfortable home. Has a ramp up to the front door. You can set on the front porch and listen to the creek. The kids will love playing in the creek. There’s not much traffic on the road , and easy to get too.Very kid friendly and motorcycle friendly.It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed in it.The second bedroom has 1 Queen bed in it. The third bedroom has 1 Queen bed in it too. It also has a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room. The game room also has a Queen Sleeper Sofa in it too. With the 2 Queen Sleeper Sofas it sleeps a total of 10 people. It has 7 person hot tub and a game room. This was my childhood home I grew up in. It also has a fire pit. The fire place in it is gas logs. It also has a generator that kicks on and runs the whole house if the power goes off. So you’ll never have to go with out power. It has a a nice carport.

Papaws creek side cabin was a great place to stay! Check in was a breeze, hosts were quick to communicate, and the cabin was well stocked and clean. Extra touches, such as hot chocolate and Christmas mugs left for us, were much appreciated. Hot tub was great. We also loved the screened in porch and the fact that you can hear the creek. We just wish it was warm enough to sit out on the porch. My son and husband enjoyed playing pool and air hockey in the game room. We plan to book again when it’s warm so we can tube the river and do the zip line tour. The nearby Nantahala on the river restaurant had the best Reuben and the best chicken Alfredo dish we’ve had!

We had a great time staying here. It rained most of the time we were here but the place was perfect for our kids. They loved the game room and hot tub. The one day it didn’t rain we enjoyed the creek that runs in front of the home and making s’mores at the fire pit.

Great Mountain Vacation

Papaw’s was a great house to stay in with friends and our children. The kids were entertained in the game room, the hot tub, and the large yard! The adults were able to relax and enjoy the newly renovated cabin. We loved the screened porches! It’s close and easy to get to the National Park, Bryson City, and Fontana Dam. Great place to stay near NOC

We enjoyed staying at Cheri’s PawPaw cabin very much! The place was spotless, very nicely and comfortably furnished. Game room was an instant hit with the kids. As was the big fire pit. Cheri was a very attentive host and we loved the s’mores kit she left for us to enjoy. We could not ask for better place to stay and we will be back!

We had a great weekend! The home was beautiful! The kids really enjoyed pac man and the game room. Everyone loved the hot tub, and the host even left us a s’mores kit to enjoy by the fire. Cheri and Harold were the kindest hosts! The fireplace, hot tub and screened in porch were so relaxing and the welcome goodies were so sweet. We even had an impromptu foosball tournament! Plenty of space to be together or lounge separately - there was a TV in every room and any channel you could want. The ultimate hideaway - perfect for a long weekend away❤️

Beautiful mountain home

Every thing was so clean, all we had to take was groceries and clothes, all kinds of cooking pots, coffee on the counter ready to make. This was the best equipped house i have ever stayed in. We total enjoyed our stay from the beautiful house to the sound of the creek acrossed the street while sitting on the porch, the hot tube and fire pit was a bonus. Wonderful Property

Papaw’s was by far one of the nicest rentals that we have stayed in on vacations. It has a fabulous floor plan and was spotless. The property owner, Cheri, was very responsive to any questions and even messaged us to make sure our stay always as expected. My 2 sisters and I along with our Dad and families traveled to Bryson City for a weekend to take a train ride on the Great Smokey Mtn Rail. This location is less than 20 minutes from the depot. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay here.

Fun Times

We had such a great time here. Cheri was fantastic and so was her lovely home. We were 6 adults and 4 kiddos. Everyone had a great time The s’mores basket was such a treat, the kiddos loved them(and so did the adults) and the colored fire was also a hit. We all agreed that we would come back.
