Really excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. Everything you need is provided. The location is also very convenient, close to the airport and public transport.

This experience was the worst I have ever had in my whole life. We came at the time of the checking, there were a lot of people, some did not find a room knowing that we all booked and paid. We have got one, after a long hours of wait. We have been to the room just to put our goods before going out. When we came back to the hotel, surpise : the room was not ready at all. No beds, the sheets were not there, no towers, no coffes, no kettle and many things were missing. The phone was also not working, so no possible to contact the reception without moving physically. After a long trip and walk in the city, and with baby, there was literally no ready room to get a rest. We were tired, my baby was crying, a very stressful situation. One person was in the reception, and was just lost with all the issues happening with the other customers, and our issue. After 1 hour fight, I asked for a refund, and they promised to do something about it, and said there is no other available room as the hotel was full. So we have accepted to take a sheets and a towers for the night, as we did not have any other choise and my baby was just super tired. We could sleep only at 2am, my baby too. There was no confort at all, and instead of having a restful weekend, we have got a lot of stress and pression. In addition, they don't explain the process. For the parking, when we tried to leave the hotel, the door was closed, so we were blocked. To finish, today they announced that no refund will be done.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Brussels Airport and unfortunately had a very bad experience from start to finish. On arrival, the sofa bed in the room was completely broken and slanted, making it impossible for anyone to sleep on. Tried calling reception multiple times for assistance, but no one answered. Eventually had to go downstairs to ask for help in person. The receptionist was just sitting there and letting the phone ring off the hook and didn’t acknowledge at first and when the situation was finally explained, she said a colleague would come to the room. No one ever arrived, and the issue was never resolved. The breakfast experience was just as disappointing. There were no plates, no cutlery, and barely any food available. Guests were standing around waiting for items to come out of the kitchen, only to be told “in a minute,” with nothing actually appearing. There was even broken glass on the floor, which is a safety concern. Ended up eating plain bread rolls because there was no butter left. Staff were rude and uninterested in helping. When checking out, mentioned that no one had come to help with the broken bed, the response was dismissive, and was told “at least there were sheets!” This stay was far below the standards I expect from an IHG property. I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel based on this experience.

I was put in a room surrounded by teenagers on a school trip. They were up till 1am each night, running the hallways and going from room to room slamming doors. The walls are paper thin and the main doors aren't quiet when they close. If you like quiet, then don't stay here. Transit is also unreliable so getting into the city centre takes time. The television has many channels, but picture was never clear. Breakfast is decent.

When I arrived, even though I had prepaid they did not have a room assigned to me. I do not think the attendant knew how to get a room as I had to wait while he went somewhere else - 45 min later I was able to check-in which meant I did not get to my room until after midnight my room was dirty. It looked like the table in it had not been cleaned. There was sticky stuff all over it. I went to turn on the TV and there was no remote then in the morning I went down to catch the six am shuttle after only a couple hours of sleep, me and several others sat in the lobby waiting for the shuttle when it didn’t come at the assigned time, I went up and asked if the shuttle is just running late and was told, oh no the shuttle doesn’t come to this door. Even though he could clearly see there were six of us sitting in the lobby with luggage at 10 to 6 in the morning,You have to walk down the road to get it which meant I missed the shuttle and had to take the next one and at 71 years old I cannot run as fast as a 25-year-old through the airport to catch my flight. Needless to say I was very disappointed with this hotel.
