All properties in the area are small so the inn has parking on the ground level, with the lobby and rooms on the second and third floors. The staff is super helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet. Our room was quite large with a sectional sofa besides the king bed. For breakfast there are fresh turnovers, muffins, bagels, and cereal. There is a coffee machine that allows you to choose your style of coffee. The lighthouse museum is across the street, as well as the ocean, shopping and dining within a block or two. We enjoyed our hotel stay and our four days in St. Simons.

The room was charming, and the breakfast was great. Overall cleanliness was good. However the chest that I put my clothes in had mold in the back, -so I had to wash my clothes. When I reported the mold to the manager, he said they would clean the mold abd put a dehumidifier in the room, but when I returned that evening, mot only was the mold not cleaned, but no demumidifier,and no housekeeping services were done in the room! When this lack was reported, they said "thanks for telling us, but did not even offer a discount on th e room! If not for this lack of response, I would have given the Inn a top rating.

Friendly and courteous staff, was like a small family. Chad, the GM was very inviting and insightful with things to do. The room and property was full of character. True hidden gem among the other properties. Price was deciding factor for our short vacation, so glad we chose. Would definitely recommend and plan on returning. The coffee maker was great!! Pool was clean but too cold to enjoy. Location was great, walkable to ask the local places.

The room was a good size. Beds were soft. The tub/shower did not have a bath mat or any anti slip stickers so it was worrisome. Great location and had muffins and cereal each morning.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location is within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, and playgrounds. The staff was also friendly. We would stay here again.

We had a problem with the room next door and staff attempted to fix it. Hotel mgt was very helpful and took care of us when notified. Some electrical issues were being addressed also. We did recommend this hotel to my family and would go back knowing changes are being made.

I enjoyed my stay at the Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse. My only comment would be that the breakfast options are limited to sweet or savory breads and pastries. There was some fruit, but it was still not suitable for anyone with dietary restrictions. Nevertheless, the area offered plenty of breakfast places with nutritious and delicious offerings on their menus.
