This place was clean. The desk staff was very helpful. My only suggestion would be to add a couple hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes while showering.

Never stayed in Brookings, but we were tired and decided this was the spot. Chose this motel it turned out to be a good choice. Nice guy working the desk and he made dining recommendations. We took his advice and had a really good Mexican dinner. Not a fancy place but clean and pretty quiet and were able to park our car really close to our room.

It was once called the Westward Motel, and they renamed it the Westward Inn. It is a basic motel, but updated to better flooring and decent beds/pillows. There was no bottled water or food of any kind offered. Even though I stayed in 5 other hotels that week, I did end up having a very good sleep at the Westward. I was afraid it was going to be loud with people going by, and it wasn't. My one complaint was the pipes were unbelievably loud when someone ran the water. Overall it was a comfortable stay. Good location, too.

The property is in a nice location as we were visiting the Samuel Boardman corridor. The place needed a good clean and an update to their plumbing. Our hot water in the sink stopped working, and the toilet was clogged with first flush.

This is a slightly older facility and appeared to be popular with lay persons needing a room while in town performing service work. Nothing wrong with this, just pointing it out. Upstairs guest was noisy for a bit after 10PM but settled down soon after. Beds were well worn and could use replacing. Still slept well enough. Parking is a steep incline no matter how your room is oriented. The room was clean, just well used.
