Disappointing and certainly not cosy!
The property was very cold when we arrived and the information for starting the heating was totally incorrect. The boiler had to be set to heating, which wasn't mentioned and the thermostat one that required our knowledge from our own at home to get it to work! The radiator in the bedroom didn't work at all. We contacted the agent, but nothing happened despite promises! The main part of the accommodation was reasonable clean but the seal to the screen of the shower was mouldy and covered in limescale. The skirting board below this screen was also mouldy and rotten (see attached photos). The bed was king size, but the duvet only a double, so it was difficult for us both to keep covered up during some very chilly nights. There was no TV despite an aerial lead; 200 DVDs were available, but no player! The tin opener didn't work; we had to buy one. Bathroom fittings, such as towel rail had fallen off the wall and were in cupboards. It was very difficult to work the key-safe. The parking space was so narrow we scratched our car. We were overall disappointed with the standard of the property.
