Comfortable room with a balcony overlooking a stream and tall trees. Lots of bird life. A very pleasant ambience.

Great that the manager called to confirm our arrival. Plenty of space in the room, and a very nice location, but the facility is dated, and to be honest, is overpriced for what they deliver - especially in the low season

Good morning - I am a newly appointed manager here at Tweed Valley Lodge (since mid November) so thank yo for your comments which I have passed to the Owners of the property. If you choose to stay here at some time in the future request on of the newer rooms (5-8) which I am sure will meet your needs. Barbara

Great size rooms and en-suite. But the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing on each side. If you don’t have solid brick walls. Use decent noise insulation batts please.

Nice but couldn't sleep

Pros: Clean and well appointed.
Nice place. Nice hotel. Everything good but lizards making noise in the roof all night. They need to stop the lizards getting into the ceiling.

Forest accommodation

The room was pleasant and comfortable. There was no dedicated parking for my room. The balcony has a fantastic view but is in need of some attention as it is wooden and starting to splinter. Overall experience was good and I would stay there again.

Lovely natural setting on Blackwood River

Pros: It's setting, cleanliness and upkeep, the bird feeders feature, our hosts
Tweed Valley Lodge is a birder's delight. All but two units has a bird feeder in front of it which brings in the native birds morning and afternoon. The Lodge is situated just outside Bridgetown in a peaceful, natural setting on the Blackwood River.

Nice lodge with gardens leading down to river.

Pros: The cleanliness and gardens.
Cons: Could be more up to date.
Location: Very easy to find on the edge of town and immediately off the SW highway. Bridgetown is very quaint and pretty with good cafes, shops and restaurants.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean if a little old fashioned. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchenette had everything you could need. The gardens and patio area were lovely. We enjoyed watching the birds on the bird feeders outside each unit. Very peaceful.
