To: Customer Service Department Expedia Group And General Manager Comfort Inn & Suites – Weatherford, TX Dear Sir or Madam: Unfortunately, I must say that one of my worst lodging experiences was at the Comfort Inn in Weatherford, TX. Due to technical problems with the airplane, my flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico was delayed from Wednesday the 19th in the afternoon and did not depart until Thursday the 20th at around 10:30 a.m. Imagine—an entire night without rest. I contacted Reina, a very kind representative from Expedia, and explained that I would not be arriving at the hotel that night. My intention was not to avoid paying for that night (I am fully aware of the policy), but rather to ensure that the rest of my prepaid stay through the Expedia bundle would be honored. After landing, I picked up the rental car—Eurocar staff treated me very well, and I even upgraded to a Mercedes. I don’t know my way around Dallas, and safety was a concern. For that reason, I had selected a room with accessible features, since my wife is disabled. I was favorably impressed by the pictures of the handicap-accessible room. However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that my reservation had been canceled. The way it was said to me felt more like a scolding—'you should have called us directly; third-party bookings don’t work.' It seems agreements are not honored. Imagine this: after more than 30 hours of travel, with a person with disabilities, we now had no place to rest. I don’
