We went for our 36th wedding anniversary but became ill throughout it. The house in the woods was peaceful solitude and a place to reflect on so much. While my husband rested one day, I sat on one of the patios, which are totally private so I was able to be in my nightgown. In the city, there's too much noise and we're too busy to enjoy any quiet time, so I silently thanked the ancestors, Universe and God, for the opportunity to relax. The 9 acres were absolutely beautiful and private. Just what we needed. Since we couldn't go driving around to find moose, elk, deer and bears, one appeared in the sage on the private road next to us. It's what we drove to Colorado to see. The house had everything we needed to cook and we used our Netflix and Prime Video to watch movies. Next time, we won't be I'll, so the many stairs won't be a problem. Great exercise! Our dog, Flounder, got exercise, as well, and I enjoyed walking him along the driveway. We loved watching the chipmunks/ground squirrels and swifts/other birds.The beds were comfy and linen, so fresh and clean. We came from hot Texas and needed fans. Thankfully, there was a fan in the master bedroom closet. HaThis would be a great house and property for families with teenagers. Plenty of fun things to do on the 9 acres.
