This place is way overpriced for what it is. The rooms are dated. Room was hot. Stayed about 8-10 degrees higher than set. TV didn’t work. No satellite or cable, just an error message. You have to pay extra for parking and breakfast. View of the lake was nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for over $400 per night.

Disliked: Amenities
It was horrid. You could not get towels or wash cloths. There were no linens for the pullout bed. After waiting over an hour and calling multiple times, our little girl found herself sleeping between us. They tried to majorly overcharge my son for a product. When I called them out on it, they never apologized. They just gave it to him for the right price. Who does that to a kid?!?? I’m so glad he knew to come back to the room and ask me when things seemed fishy. I should have never sent him to these thieves alone. Cleanliness was questionable. I got several towels and washcloths clearly not washed. So gross, especially for $400 a night. Anything you asked front desk for was a several hour wait. We got in bed a 1in the morning one night, because we’d waited over 3 hours for bath towels. Insanity.

The restaurant made a sit for an hour before they brought our meal. When it came it was cold. The building outside of the one convention room was freezing where people walked around with a blanket on them because it was so cold. I had to turn the air conditioner off in my room because the bathroom floor was freezing. Get some more staff at this building. Especially in the restaurant.

Front desk service was very good. Cafés food was subpar. The room had a very nice view of the lake. The room needed to be cleaned. Icemaker was broken on the fourth war. Spa had some operational issues. The dry sauna was not operational. Spa whirlpool was not operational. For $350 a night we were disappointed.

High priced, outdated castle on a hill.

Very outdated. For the hotel to be labeled as a “resort” the amenities were horrible. We had to pay to park on the hotel parking lot, that blew my mind. It wasn’t as clean as I would expect for the price. I don’t recommend, will never stay again.

The lake was beautiful! The restaurant by the pool wasn’t open (in mid-July), which was strange. The food in all other areas was very good. The decor inside the hotel seems dated, but everything was clean and the room was spacious. The Sunday morning champagne brunch was my favorite! It was delicious with a great variety of food. Overall, we liked this place!

We stayed 5 nights at this property as a family that travels often, and I’m comparing this stay to others we've had in recent years. The property is beautiful. We loved the café on the second floor — the barista was kind, the coffee was great, and the breakfast sandwich was our favorite. I especially enjoyed my daily cappuccino! Most front desk staff were friendly and responsive. However, one staff member seemed disengaged. For example, I had confirmed the Pickleball courts were open until 11 PM, but when I came to play at 9:50, he told me I only had 10 minutes. Only after I mentioned my earlier conversation did he give me the rackets. The hotel could use more staff. Dining service was slow, and housekeeping was minimal — mostly towel changes. Beds weren’t always made, and the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned daily. Still, I’m giving a full star rating because of the location and the overall beauty of the property. With a few improvements, this could easily be a five-star experience.
