5 minutes from visitor center at Anza Borrego State Park and close to restaurants and shopping. Beautiful view of the stars from our room. A unique property like the set of a western movie. The room was large and nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

This hotel is very nice and location is fantastic. We didn't know what to expect, but we got the room that although it was outdated, it was super clean with comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, refrigerator in microwave and lots of space. Staff was friendly in the whole little town was super cute

The beds in our 'deluxe', expensive room were very uncomfortable (big dip in middle). I complained about this a couple years ago and was assured they'd be replaced. Also only one hottub and one pool open. We weren't notified in advance of this. Also wasn't offered our free gift (as gold members of hotels.com). Check in was slow and rude.

Utterly charming hotel located in a quiet corner of Borrego Springs. The desk clerk was friendly & my room couldn't have been cleaner. I gasped when I saw the Capt Beefheart poster on the wall. I'm a huge fan of his to a legendary degree. I felt right at home. The room was very spacious and I had great views of mountains in the distance. Everything worked well and was in order. Now for the reason I gate it 4 instead of 5 stars - the bed! The bed has been loved and sags in the middle. I had a hard time sleeping due to the discomfort. Since it's kinda the most important piece of furniture in a hotel room, my rating came down a star. If it had been comfortable, this would have been a 5 star stay, all the way. Still, I'd give it another try. Maybe it was just that one bed?
