The home was clean and comfortable. I was a bit nervous when we arrived as the common hallway and stairwell had a lot of messy looking storage and chipped paint, but the apartment itself was well cared for and we had no issue with other building tenants. The kitchen had most of what we needed for breakfast and simple meals, though there were no sharp knives to cut fruits or vegetables. It would have been helpful to have a bit more information at check-in, such as need-to-know information about the property (what key to use, locking/unlocking the main building entrance, operating heating and cooling), getting on the WiFi, and important locations near the property (local restaurants, grocery stores, attractions). It would also have been helpful to have operating instructions for the washing machine and coffee machine, as these may not be familiar to all guests. A guide to compost, recycling and garbage would have been good too. There were no instructions for check-out, so we didn’t do any cleaning beyond washing and drying dishes. Overall, this apartment was comfortable and quiet and my family had a pleasant stay.
