The only good things I can really appreciate was the comfortable bed, hot shower and the smart TV. We paid for an executive room, but had to stay in a smaller room because the first one they sent us to had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We asked for extra towels and they were completely out, they had to take some from another room. The breakfast was two little crockpots of microwaved eggs and sausage patties and a little cabinet of crusty muffins. They did have the waffle maker, but I didn't bother. Thankfully there is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance. It does seem to be an older facility but that is no excuse for the lack of maintenance and cleanliness. It seemed like everything was broken. The entrance pillars outside had clearly been ran into, multiple places where flooring was soiled, moldy ceiling tiles where it had been leaking, peeling wallpaper. Their "convenience store " was almost completely empty and every ice machine was broken. The neighborhood was fine, it seemed secluded yet close to the cities we needed. I don't think we will be back.

No bugs please!!

The night time check-in was fine. The next morning in our waste basket by the tv there were cockroaches inside a small empty potato chip bag - gross !! (They did offer to upgrade from my 3rd floor and they acted like they already knew about the bugs *sus*) But, I no longer wanted to stay there, I just felt like "if one room has them, they all do" and I cancelled the hotel and got a refund. Such a bummer, took a little over an hour to do, disappointed because we had to pack up everything once more and find somewhere else...and I had to check EVERY BAG to be SURE none of those suckers came with us! Geez. I will not be back.

The room smelled like smoke.

For a non-smoking hotel it smelled like smoke. It took three trips back to the front counter to get a working room key. Lots of dogs were staying with their owners at the property.
