As I was checking out, the power to the entire building went out. I am not sure for how long or how often this happens but there was no weather that would cause it and the staff seemed to take it in stride, which makes me think it is not an unusual occurrence. Losing power is not their “problem”.
When I checked in, I tried to do the first thing I always do in a hotel, turn on the tv. It didn’t work and no one answered when I called. I left the hotel for a meeting and when I came back, the front desk was unmanned and still no tv. Didn’t work the entire stay and without option to tell anyone. I forgot to mention when I checked out due to the power outage and being more concerned about that and accompanying issues.
