Selah Retreat Guesthouse is located in the interior of British Columbia above the sunny Shuswap where guests may enjoy spectacular lake and mountain views. The Shuswap boasts of natural beauty, with its rivers, lakes, mountain vistas and abundant wildlife. The area is home to beaches, parks, museums, artisan and craft people, as well as a numerous variety of hiking trails, golf courses and much more. Selah is located just off the Trans Canada Hwy, midway between Vancouver and Calgary, making it the perfect place for a rest stop .

Our Guesthouse offers two different suites at fixed rates for peak season (May 1 - Oct 15) and low season (Oct 16 - April 30). Located just off the Trans Canada Highway on the Shuswap Lake, we're a great home-base for accessing hiking, water sports, golfing, long afternoons in quaint coffee shops, and all that the Shuswap region has to offer. We hope you find at Selah a place of welcome and refreshment where you can relax and enjoy your vacation. OUR SUITES DO NOT HAVE A BREAKFAST OPTION!

Selah is located just off the Trans Canada Hwy, midway between Vancouver and Calgary, making it the perfect place for a rest stop .
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
Check In/Check Out : Check-in between 4 pm and 6 pm. (Please advise us if an earlier or later check in is required)
Check-out is at 11.00 am
Cancellation : Free Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior, within 2 weeks: 100% of total reservation fee if unit cannot be rebooked; Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly and for this reason we are unable to make exceptions to the cancellation policy.

Quiet, peaceful relaxing stay at the Shuswap

Many thanks again to Rick & Adela for a comfy stay at Selah. This was our third stay at Selah and it was the same peaceful relaxing and comfortable place as described on VRBO. If you are looking for a great place at Shuswap/Blind Bay (long stay or short) then this is your place. Adela's cookies are as good as ever too.

Quiet and comfortable retreat at the Shuswap

Quiet, peaceful and hassle free stay at the Shuswap

Selah B&B is a quiet and peaceful retreat where we stayed for 9 days. The place is air conditioned which was much appreciated with the unusually hot weather that week. Our suite was very spacious. Everything was spotless, the beds were great and the garden and patio were beautiful and lovingly tended. Rick and Adela are the perfect hosts....Adela's cookies are to die for too. If you are looking for a nice retreat, this is your place!

We went during wild fires but we still enjoyed our time

We had a great time. Property was a suite on the lower level of the property. The suite was clean and was the hosts were very nice and accommodating. We would have enjoyed the view more if the smoke was not so thick,but that was out of anyone's control.

Such a great b&b!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Selah retreat. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The suite was well appointed and very clean. Comfortable beds, a beautiful view, peaceful gardens and our own patio area. And saving the best part of the review for last - the breakfast was AMAZING. Restaurant quality, just so wonderful and fueled us up for the whole day. We will definitely be back next year!!

it was a very nice place. the breakfast was great. we had the bottom floor so view was ok . very quiet and peacful. only down fall to no fault of owners is only access to beach is back on transcanada highway.
