Just outside Barcelona city centre but the metro is 5 min walk and bus around the corner - made it very easy to access all the attractions. Major shopping mall across the road and restaurants all around (including takeaways). Very clean and comfortable place - price was a bit on the high side, but we found this true of Barcelona in general. Very close to airport and the bus and train no the have a direct service to airport. would definitely recommend and would stay again if I ever get another opportunity to retune to Barcelona.

Hotel Gran Ultonia: Pet-friendly hotel with free WiFi and a bar/lounge. Located near a train station.
This is an excellent location for a visit in Girona. I very much enjoyed the terrace bar for a simple evening drink and snack. All of the staff were friendly and I found the breakfast offerings quite tasty.
